everywhere.
In a gait, a
familiar hair pattern, a
faraway face. My heart
skips a beat, joyous
that you might be back. Only
for a second, before I
chide myself.
I wish you fulfilment. That
you should be where
you’d hoped.
Away.
Your head shaven
of your silky black
locks. Your body wrapped
in colourful robes. I see you
sitting cross-legged, with your
eyes closed and a faint
smile on your
face.
I see you content.
And I miss you. But I would be
heartless
not to. I lost
an invaluable friend. With your
beautiful soul and kind
heart; you are
irreplaceable.
So I just
miss you, I.V.
And I wish you
peace.
