As a teenager.
As a Black person.
As a young adult.
As a medical student.
As a woman.
As a Nigerian living in Europe
At the beginning of my career.
And now.
This is the directory I still yearn for: a map, dotted with lighthouse towers of other humans and the creative lives they have built. That I might be guided on their paths. Or find orientation in their light, while I cut through my own unique path. That I might be courageous in my adventures and take lessons from my failures.
This blog is a role model for all the versions of me that needed one.
And for anyone else I’m lucky enough to inspire.
